I am feeling VERY inspired! I want to know what you all are thinking about meetup ideas! Meredith mentioned going to Larriland Farms for a Pick Your Own day!! That sounds like a blast to me, anyone interested? She also expressed interest in doing a think at Liquid Earth in Fells Point, Baltimore! I would also like to all go to Senbebs if anyone is interested! I was just there with Ryan the other day and we had some AMAZING eats!

Let me know what you are interested in doing! Lets get some dialog going here!

I like the pick your own day, but any meetup would be nice. I only found out today that Natty Zing isn't doing an event this year. How about outdoors event here in Harwood?

Thx for this opp -- I would love to participate in any and all of the above! Larriland Farms sounds great, as does Fells Point and Senbebs. I work in the daytime, weekdays -- but do have some flexibility. Let me know if I can help you coorindate anything.

Alright well lets plan the Pick Your Own!! What day is best for everyone? I'm thinking a Saturday in the morning (around 10 am to give everyone the time to get there!) Meet up at Larriland Farms, pick our goodness and then maybe have a raw foodie picnic! Keeping it simple! I was thinking it might be fun to keep it light - maybe even everyone brings a mono meal and then we can share as we see fit and just enjoy each others company! I want this to be less about the food and more about the community/friends!

Hi Wysteria, Sorry I haven't replied sooner. Since returning on July 5th, I've been recovering from my 10 day trip to Germany, baaaadddd food choices (delicious, but bad for me!!), and an injured hip from a bad fall.

I'd love to do just about any and all meetups. I just wanna be around other like-minded folks. I would love the pick-your-own day, but I can't this Saturday the 11th. Will be attending my sis-in-laws 50th bday party. So y'all have fun. I'll look forward to the future get-togethers. And of course I'm PSYCHED about the Mother of all meet-ups.....Raw Spirit Festival in August!!

For everyone that's interested (I didn't get any responses regarding the date and this is a little last minute I know!) Jessica and I (and possibly my hubby) will be going to Larriland Farm tomorrow to PYO! They are opening their blueberry field tomorrow and they have their Raspberry fields open (Red, Black and Purple) as well as sour cherries and beets! Everyone that goes beet picking cuts off the tops of their beets at the field! GASP! You would probably be able to scavenge beet tops if you want for smoothies! I think Jessica and I are planning on meeting there between 9 and 10! If you are interested in going shoot me an email at capitalcityraw (at) gmail (dot) com and lets coordinate!! If you email me we can share numbers and when you get there we can call each other and meet up! I also have Vanilla beans if anyone is interested! Indicate in the email if you are interested! And I will bring them to the field!
