Capital City Raw

I'm ordering a bunch of dates from The Date People:
http://www.datepeople.net/Updatecolor2006_sm.pdf

If you look at their site online you'll find an old brochure but the prices have gone up in the past 3 years. For the first 10 pounds it costs $14 shipping
and there's a $4 discount on each additional box.
If you like Medjool dates, they recommend the Barti date. It's low glycemic, making it better for you than the medjool. I've read that it's the sweetest, softest, bestest date ever.

I've ordered a total of 35 pounds in 3 boxes and I'd be happy to share the cost with others.
$47 barhi 10# premium wet dates separated in fiber baskets
$24 barhi 10# "broken" (scratch & dents)
$28 assorted 15# seconds (bulk mixed batch some dry some moist)

Please let me know what you'd like me to share with you. I like all dates and I'm sure I won't be disappointed.

I saw their dates. They look like good dates and reasonable prices. I went with thedatepeople because they've been recommended to me by several people. They haven't posted the new prices online(orderform is several years old) but they're here in my home if you want to meet up to get some.

The dates are in!!! So they're neatly packed in little fiber boxes. One person has already taken a pound of each. I can tell you that they're melt in your mouth, caramelly good!
Just to remind you, I'm not making a profit on these at all. I'm selling at my cost. I didn't even round up to the nearest dollar, so I'm not inclined to want to travel too far, but I can be persuaded with jolly company.

I ordered more dates again. I'm taking the last of their dates for the season! When I actually get the shipment I can tell you what I have available.

Doesn't date season start again in August? I will be in the DC area Sunday and some more the next week. Can you get the yellow smooth firm dates that are still on the stem? I got them before and when I can I'll be on the look out for them.

I'll be too busy next weekend with the Raw Spirit Festival( August 29th and 30th) but I'm told that the date people will have their next crop available in September.

HI Rawbin - If there are any medjools available, I would like some.

Thank you!
